Important announcement:
2020 Neighborhood Summit Postponed
After working with our partners to put in place proper procedures and protocols to limit the spread of contagion, in light of the rapidly changing events in the state and the daily changing landscape regarding preparedness and response to COVID-19, we are postponing the 2020 Neighborhood Summit scheduled for Saturday, March 14. After discussion with our partners, sponsors, and vendors, and the impact of several announced corporate and Ohio public policies, it was decided that proceeding with an abundance of caution was the appropriate action with respect to the public safety concerns of our community. The Kick-Off event the preceding evening is also postponed. We are currently working on our contingency plan for moving forward and will provide further details as decisions are made.

Registration is closed. However, as always, the Summit is free and open to everyone and we welcome walk-ins
The theme for the 2020 Neighborhood Summit is “My Neighborhood Counts. Everybody Counts,” to recognize the 2020 Census year and expand upon the importance that all neighborhoods and all people’s voices count. The theme stresses the importance of not overlooking any person, group or place. We all count. To be counted is to matter, to have a voice, to be active and to be engaged in ways that make a difference.
There are many ways we engage in civic life that make our needs visible, our voices heard, and our community empowered. Tracks for the 2020 Summit will include volunteering, civic engagement, equitable and inclusive opportunities, community initiatives and collective action.

The Neighborhood Summit is THE annual event which brings together hundreds of community leaders and volunteers, city officials and non-profits in a day long series of seminars and workshops aimed at helping citizens work effectively together to improve the quality of life in their neighborhoods. Last year’s event was attended by over 600 people.
Invest in Neighborhoods’ 19th annual Summit would not be possible without the hard work of our Summit partners, our volunteers, and the generosity of our funders
